I envisioned a scene of lush green rice fields, waving like a verdant carpet in the early summer breeze. The fine unevenness of the overall birdseye knit pattern represents the rice fields, while the thin vertical lines running from the shoulders to the hem express the blowing wind. The base birdseye knit features a distinctive texture with minimal skin contact due to its uneven surface, providing a dry and comfortable feel. Using a plating knitting technique where different yarns are knitted on the front and back, we varied the yarn colors on both sides and knitted with two colors to create a richly nuanced look. To create a soft impression with dropped shoulders when worn, we finished this piece by paying homage to YASHIKI's classic kimono pattern. Side slits add a light impression. The cuffs feature the brand icon, the [Yagasuri] pattern. The buttons are made from natural black mother-of-pearl. Each button is unique, with a beautiful and elegant iridescent luster.
