Description
We imagined autumn quietly deepening as each autumn rain washes away the remnants of summer.
Waffle knitting on the sleeves and sides of the body represents rice fields after harvesting, while vertical stripes on the sides of the body represent the gentle autumn rain.
Using a technique called plating knitting, where different yarns are knitted on the front and back sides, the colors of the yarns are changed on the front and back sides, By knitting in two colors, we have created a texture with depth.
To create a soft impression when worn, the shoulders drop and the kimono has become a staple at YASHIKI. The design is finished with an homage to the pattern.
The cuffs feature the brand's iconic [arrow kasuri] pattern.
The buttons use natural black mother-of-pearl oysters. Each button has a unique expression and a beautiful iridescent shine.

YASHIKI is a Japanese knitwear brand.
Started in 2014.
It offers Japanese-made knits produced in the Ryomo area of northern Kanto, a region long known for its thriving textile industry.

Patterns evoking the culture of hometown, such as the Tedori River and rural landscapes, are incorporated into knits, expressing the scenes and local feel through simple yet elegant craftsmanship.
