The MAKALU JACKET from the WILDTHINGS archive has been modified for everyday use in town. The outer layer is made of lightweight SAITOS 3-layer nylon ripstop. The filling is made of Kawada Feather's recycled down (approximately 700FP). The old WILD CAT logo name has been reprinted on the chest with an updated design. The rounded silhouette creates a retro outdoor atmosphere. A new name has been added to the inside, which quotes the WILD THINGS CODE from archive materials, which is connected to the brand concept of "Light is Right." KAWADA DOWN The recycled feathers are made by dismantling feather products collected in Japan and then cleaning them. During recycling, they are again subjected to dust removal, cleaning, drying and sorting, which means they are said to be cleaner than regular new feathers. Furthermore, Kawada Feather's advanced feather cleaning and recovery technology restores functions such as heat retention and moisture absorption. This high-quality down has passed Kawada Feather's own strict recycled feather inspection standards (cleanliness level 3000mm) and is equivalent to 700FP. WILD THINGS is an outdoor brand founded in North Conway, Massachusetts in 1981 by two of America's leading mountaineers, John Borchardt and Marie Meunier. In 1984, Marie was the first woman to climb Aconcagua, the highest peak in the Andes, and she used her many years of experience in harsh mountain climbing to create high-quality products based on the concept that they must be light and tough.
