Sage Toda-Nation, a designer of both Japanese and British descent, learned brand management at Studio Nicholson while attending university and launched this London-based brand in 2019.

His unique designs are characterized by a blend of Japanese and British aesthetics, which are his roots, and he was also greatly influenced by his Japanese grandfather, Kichisaburo Toda, who was a renowned painter.

Resonating with the design approaches of industrial designers Kenneth Grange and Dieter Rams, the company creates products that are not bound by trends or gender, based on the philosophy of 'PURPOSE, PERSPECTIVE AND BALANCE'.

While working on his own brand, he will also serve as CD for YMC London from 2025SS.
