An improved model based on SANSUI, the brand's signature model.The SANSUI front thickness has been scaled up from 5mm to an extra-thick 8mm.A slightly larger Boston-type than the signature model NOCHINO. The increased thickness compared to normal suppresses stray light from an angle, and the plastic material creates a glamorous transparency and unique sense of luxury.While possessing an overwhelming presence, the inner surface of the front is hand-chiseled to create variation. It also serves to cover the thickness when prescription lenses are installed. All parts retain their original design, while featuring a three-dimensional, mid-sized unisex Asian fit Boston-type. The fit is designed to match the majority of people, taking into account the low nose bridge characteristic of Asians. Cremona pads (metal parts that allow nose adjustment) are adopted, which greatly affect the wearing comfort. This specification incorporates the skills of experienced craftsmen. The nose pads, which are in close contact with the skin for almost the entire day, are made of high-grade, allergy-free titanium. The rivets connecting the hinges are polished by skilled craftsmen using a "togidashi" (polished out) finishing method, where they are polished carefully one by one to the very end after being embedded in the plastic. The 2-curve lenses, which symbolize the NOCHINO OPTICAL brand, have a beautiful curved surface that is neither flat nor a typical curve, reminiscent of old hand-cut glass lenses, and exude a luxurious feel with their sparkling surface. In addition, 4 versions of photochromic lenses that change color under UV light, one of the brand's iconic points, are available. The greatest appeal is the unique lens version that changes from clear to colored, and the version that changes from a lightly tinted light gray-green to gray.
