A deadstock fabric series that sources unused materials from shuttered fabric mills across Japan. From iconic brands of the '80s through the early 2000s, we seek out unique and compelling textiles, no matter where they come from. This time, we are working with deadstock fabrics from Watahiko Tex, a historic mill that produced high quality textiles for 180 years. Although the company sadly closed in 2023, we have carefully selected some of their beautiful wool fabrics for this release. The Circular Pants have become one of Sillage's most iconic designs, featuring adjustable double drawcords at the waist, two patch pockets at the back, and shell buttons. The Circular Pants are the roundest and widest in Sillage's wardrobe. Ready to ship in 2 to 3 business days. The Deadstock Fabric Series finds deadstock fabric from closed fabric factories all over Japan and uses it to create products. We will be picking out some really interesting fabrics, ranging from famous brands from the 1980s to around 2000, to prototype fabrics. This time, we have deadstock from the 90s developed by the British company Moon for Poul Smith. These fabrics are not only rare but also have beautiful texture and character. The style is "CIRCULAIRE" circular pants. These pants are Sillage's signature style, featuring an extremely wide, circular silhouette. These pants have a wide, relaxed silhouette, but the drape created by the sudden taper is what makes them so uniquely beautiful. The two iconic drawcords have stoppers attached to make them easier to wear. Sillage is a Japanese fashion brand launched by Nicolas Yuthanan Chalmeau in 2018. It was launched as a platform to express the sensibility of Yutanan, who has been gaining attention on social media. Although oversized, Yutanan's coordination is somehow very modern, fashionable and uniquely styled. Sillage is a French word meaning "the sensation of a scent evoking memories of the past." Just as a scent evokes memories of the past, it leaves a strong impression on people's minds. The brand's unique designs and distinctive large silhouettes allow the wearer to strongly experience the brand's worldview, leaving a lasting impression on their memory.
