This inner down cardigan from Nanga's Hinock Ripstop series combines Nanga's unique flame-retardant material with a soft feel and durability.
With its cotton-like appearance, it's perfect for both outdoor and casual styles. Hinock ripstop is a fabric that uses crimped yarn to give it natural stretch and elasticity, ensuring a comfortable fit at all times.

The down filling uses UDD DX (Spanish duck down 90-10% 770FP), a high-quality, high-performance down that has been treated with a super water-repellent finish. This minimizes the loss of insulation caused by the down getting wet and shrinking due to moisture from the outside, such as rain, or from sweat during fieldwork.
In terms of design, it has a simple design with one chest pocket and two waist pockets, making it easy to pair with any outerwear when worn as an inner layer. Furthermore, by being collarless, it won't interfere with the collar of your outerwear.
As an outer garment, the down stitching is hidden from the outer fabric, making it easy to wear as outerwear.
This versatile item can be worn as an outer layer from around October to November, and as an inner layer under a shell, mountain parka, or overcoat from December onwards, making it suitable for a long period of wear.

Nanga's unique flame-retardant material. The "aramid" fibers blended into the Hinock material not only provide flame resistance but also excellent abrasion resistance and durability. In addition, the ripstop fabric, with its grid-like weave of fibers, prevents tears and fraying from spreading. The combination of the material and weave structure makes the fabric even more resistant to tearing. Furthermore, the use of crimped yarn gives the fabric natural stretch and elasticity.


Nanga was founded in 1941 by the previous generation's Akira Yokota, in the Omi region, a production area for silk floss futons.
The company name is derived from Nanga Parbat, an 8,000-meter-class peak in the Himalayas. We are a 74-year-old domestic manufacturer of down products, located at the foot of Mount Ibuki in Maibara City, Shiga Prefecture.
Nanga Parbat, at 8126m, is the ninth highest mountain in the world and is also known as the "Man-Eating Mountain." It is a notoriously difficult mountain to climb, and has claimed many lives in the past. The company name reflects the founder's belief that "it's precisely because it's difficult that we should do it, and we'll climb where no one else will."
NANGA's focus is on down feathers.
