WORKERS Lot 806XH, Full-Back, 14.7 oz, Indigo Raw Denim

We've created a truly rare, first-type, big size 46 full-back jacket. Or rather, "we ended up making it." Originally, to make a large-sized denim jacket using narrow selvedge denim, a T-back design is used, which has a split in the back. The amount of fabric needed for one jacket is called the "manual length," but a full-back jacket ignores this and eliminates the split. I used to wonder why a big-sized full-back jacket existed instead of a T-back, but now I understand. They make them by mistake. I learned that the hard way. However, once you make it, you realize that because there's no vertical stitching on the back, it doesn't rub against your skin. As a product, it's wonderful in its own right, so we're selling it. One size. It's raw, unshrunk/untreated, and has no anti-twist treatment, so the product will be shipped in an over-washed, shrunk state. The body and shoulder widths are wide, but the sleeve length has been shortened to ensure that the sleeves aren't too long even for people with an average Japanese build. The indigo denim is WORKERS' standard "XH (Extra Heavy)" denim, with the warp and weft threads changed from 7-count to 6-count. The black denim uses 7-count warp and weft threads. The yarn is "WKS-MEM7," made from 100% American cotton medium-staple cotton from EMOT (Eastern Memphis Orleans Texas) with WORKERS' original uneven texture. When creating the original denim, we wanted to know what kind of cotton L used in the past. So, we asked a Japanese cotton import trading company to arrange a tour of grain majors, farms, and cotton sorting facilities in Memphis. The most helpful person was a veteran employee of a grain major. "What kind of cotton did denim spinning mills like Cone Mills use in the past?" The answer was simply "American cotton blends." In the past, American cotton was cheaper to obtain than importing from overseas. Furthermore, the reason for "blending" was for quality stability. Fiber length, cotton color, and the amount of cotton husk remaining. To ensure these items are as consistent as possible year after year, a blend of cottons is the most stable option. Specifying a particular field or type of cotton would leave you helpless if a drought, flood, or pest infestation prevented a harvest. That's why they used a blend of American EMOT cotton. WORKERS also uses EMOT cotton, and they even copied the uneven yarn texture by taking apart old clothes. That's what WKS-MEM7 is. At the time, no yarn manufacturer was producing their own original 7-count yarn made from American EMOT 100 cotton. Initially, when we heard that we could produce enough yarn for over 1000 skeins of jeans at once, we were half excited and half apprehensive about whether we could really make and sell that much.
