MATERIAL : COTTON90%, SILK10% SIZE : 50cm×50cm The brand name ASEEDONCLÖUD comes from the name of the first picture book (Kumo ni Notta Tane - "Seeds on a Cloud") created in childhood. While utilizing the beauty of old workwear seen in late 19th to early 20th-century photographs, the designs incorporate wit and humor into the identity behind that beauty. The materials are primarily natural, sometimes chosen for their historical context, and sometimes reproduced from antique pieces. The concept for each season is to draw inspiration from the lifestyles of various professions, incorporating the essence of those lives as a spice into the designs. - Designer- Kentaro Tamai Graduated from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, Menswear Department. Returned to Japan after working as an assistant designer for Margaret Howell UK in London. April 2007: Established WrittenAfterwards Inc. September 2008: First participation in Tokyo Collection. April 2009: Ceased activities with WrittenAfterwards and started independent design activities.
