The quintessential summer shirt. Open collar. The pattern is designed to be worn with an open collar. Looking at the collar, there's no collar stand like a button-down. The collar attachment method is also unique, sewn into the body. Midway towards the back center, an incision is made in the invisible part of the collar, and the seam allowance is reversed. This seems simple, but it's surprisingly difficult. Size M has a body width of 60cm. It's quite loose. However, the shoulders aren't dropped that much. The shoulder area looks neat, but the body is comfortably loose. For the back, the sample had a center pleat, but for mass production, we're changing it to side pleats. After all, side pleats suit this shape better. There are still things I don't know until I try them. Material: 5.5 oz linen. In the past, I tried making a sample with slightly thinner linen, but it clung to the body and felt hot. It's precisely because of the 5.5 oz thread thickness and fabric weight that the flowing texture of linen is best felt. The fabric stays away from the body, keeping you cool. Especially with strong pre-shrinking treatment, there's almost no shrinkage with normal washing + hang drying. The buttons are intentionally made of impact-resistant resin. They are less likely to break when washed, yet they have a pearl-like luster. In summer, you can wash and dry them normally without a laundry net. Emphasis on easy care. Products are delivered NW (no wash). Please avoid tumble drying and wash/sun dry normally. For the back pleats, mass production will switch from a center pleat to side pleats. The dimensions are the same as the sample. Simply, I thought side pleats would better suit the open collar's aesthetic.
