When the Berlin Wall fell, Peter Brunsberg, born on the East German side, was a 16-year-old boy rigorously training every day to join the National Ballet. With the fall of the wall, his life plans under socialism were wiped clean, and while contemplating what to do next, he was inspired by an American bicycle messenger he saw on television when he was 20, and together with a friend, he started Germany's first messenger service. At the time, they used messenger bags imported from America, but they began to create their own original bags by trial and error. These bags, which improved upon the shortcomings of existing bags, became popular among professional messengers, and 22 years ago, Bagjack was founded. Today, they continue to make custom bags for professional messengers, but their flexibility in experimenting with various materials and designs has earned them recognition, and their bags are also sold in select shops around the world as fashion bags. Regardless of the design or material, their unwavering commitment to maintaining a standard that professional messengers can use as a work tool is the reason for their enduring popularity. Beyond his own bag brand, Bagjack also designs and oversees the production of bags for Stone Island, develops bags and accessories for the Hollywood film industry, develops equipment for the German government and military's security and special forces, and designs bags for several listed German companies, highlighting his role as an industrial design workshop. Bagjack products are certainly well-regarded in Japan and several other Asian countries, but they are still produced in Berlin, the capital of Germany, which can make them expensive. However, it was undeniable that they lacked the production capacity to meet market demand. Therefore, they decided to launch a brand in collaboration with a reliable partner for bag production. This BAICYCLON by Bagjack is a capsule collection that was put together at a reasonable price while maintaining Bagjack's functionality and DNA, after consulting with the German side on the specifications of the base fabric.
