Physical Training Uniforms: Most militaries, especially the US military, mandate the use of physical training (PT) uniforms during unit exercises. The MPTU JACKET is designed for such training, featuring POLARTEC POWER DRY®*1 material. This new-quality material, developed for mid-layers, maintains a comfortable environment through a special double-knit structure that uses different counts of fibers. The shoulder sections utilize 3XDRY®*2 from Swiss fabric manufacturer Schoeller, which boasts water- and stain-repellent properties, as well as excellent moisture-wicking and quick-drying capabilities, further enhancing comfort. Utilizing these high-performance fabrics, the zipper pull tabs are ITW NEXUS GT ZipLine ALPHA. It is designed to be suitable for active use such as training. *1 POLARTEC® POWER DRY®: POLARTEC® POWER DRY® is a material with excellent moisture-wicking and quick-drying properties. Its rapid moisture absorption and diffusion performance keeps the body dry at all times. It features a patented double-knit structure using different yarns on both sides, which removes moisture from the skin and quickly evaporates it from the surface. This innovative new material, developed for mid-layers, provides a radiator effect in all active situations to maintain comfort, and is also effective in preventing cold sweat during severe winter conditions. *2 3XDRY® schoeller® Switzerland: 3XDRY is an innovation by Schoeller that incorporates two technologies into a single textile. The fabric on both the outer and inner surfaces is treated, and this technology makes both sides water-, mud-, and dirt-repellent, and also stain-resistant. The inside of the material quickly absorbs water vapor and sweat, evaporating it close to the body, which leads to a cooling function that allows for more energy use during activity. It excels in humidity control, keeping the body dry for long periods and providing comfortable wear. Furthermore, clothes dry quickly after washing. Its drying performance is such that drying time is reduced to approximately one-fifth compared to untreated fabrics.
