Description

Riprap flap pocket shirt (6oz selvedge chambray). A military shirt with a relaxed box silhouette. Large chest flap pockets. Wide armholes. Semi-long point collar (important!), with stitching on the collar stand. Gussets at the hem. Made from 6oz selvedge chambray. Woven slowly and powerfully on a shuttle loom, it has a textured feel. You can also enjoy the fading unique to indigo rope dyeing. This shirt was sewn in a factory that typically makes dress shirts. The stitching is incredibly fine, with 24 stitches per 3cm. The armholes and sides are finished with French seams, a method where the raw edges are not visible, and double-stitched. The cuff placket is finished with a kangaroo placket. Despite being a military shirt with a rough design, it has a very elegant finish. Chambray shirts hold a utilitarian position rather than being a trend. I can't be the only one who finds material that shows no signs of ever becoming a trend appealing. *Wash separately as color may fade or transfer. *The fabric is initially starched, so washing it once will reveal the true texture of the chambray.
