Compared to WILD THINGS' traditional Happy Jacket, this model is closer in design and size to the original ECWCS LEVEL7 HAPPY SUITS. The outer material is made of firm CORDURA NYLON with a non-fluorine, highly durable, water-repellent CZEREX finish, and the padding is made of CLIMA SHIELD COMBAT. The amount of padding has been adjusted to take into consideration Japan's recent climate, ease of layering, and packability, resulting in a sleek silhouette that is oversized but not too bulky. By not including the logo on the surface, the design is simpler and more sophisticated. [CORDURA × CZEREX] Firm CORDURA NYLON with CZEREX processing. CZEREX is an environmentally friendly, highly durable water-repellent finish that does not contain fluorine compounds. Maintains high water-repellent properties even after repeated washing (water-repellent properties can be maintained 10 times more after washing than our previous products). Furthermore, compared to general fluorine-based water repellents, the contact area between the fabric and water droplets is smaller, making it easier for water droplets to roll off even at gentle angles. [CLIMASHIELD COMBAT] This padding was developed for use in harsh environments such as war zones and rugged natural environments. This specially made, American-made padding is "Berry Compliant" (compliant with U.S. laws requiring the use of domestically produced materials for defense products), offers excellent storage capacity, is durable, and features AquaBan for warmth in wet or humid conditions.
