WORKERS Cotton Saddle Shoulder Sweater, Navy

This is a series of knitwear that looks like sweaters but is actually made of cotton. It looks like a sweater, but the best thing about it is that you can wash it every day without worry. The body is made of extra-thick jersey fabric. The knitting method is the same as for T-shirt fabric, but by inserting many strands of extra-thick yarn into the knitting needles, it has the thickness of a low-gauge sweater. This year, there is no brushed lining. Saddle Shoulder in particular was designed with wearing a shirt underneath in mind. Without brushing, the inside does not snag and is easier to wear. However, brushing does provide warmth. This is a trade-off, so we try to subtly change the specifications every year. The Saddle Shoulder motif is a sweater I found in a vintage Brooks Brothers store. Since the original was a sweater meant to be worn over a shirt, the body width of a medium is about 60 cm. The sleeves are also wide. The dimensions were adjusted so that it does not feel tight when worn over a shirt. It is made a little on the larger side. The Saddle Shoulder pattern was difficult. Based on a raglan, it is a design where part of the body, the shoulder area, is attached directly to the sleeve. This is a classic sweater design, but whether it's a sweater or a knit top, it's only possible because the fabric stretches to a certain extent. The seams also have angles, which would be quite difficult to achieve with woven fabrics. The ribbing is made using a needle-punch technique. When the sample was washed and sun-dried, the length shrank by 1-2 cm. The width remained almost unchanged. Therefore, the products delivered will be unwashed. Non-washed. The dimensions in the table below are based on measurements taken after washing and sun-drying.
Body: 100% cotton, 16 count double yarn, plied, 4 count class, 14 oz jersey, brushed. Rib: 100% cotton, flat knitted. *Due to individual differences, there may be a difference of about 2 cm from the stated dimensions.
