WORKERS Modified BD, Corduroy, Brown

A classic Modified Fit shirt. The button-down style is inspired by vintage Brks shirts.
The tie fits neatly into the collar stand. Not too high, not too low. The collar flares are neither too long nor too short. "The perfect balance."
No hanger loop, no shoulder yoke stitching. The silhouette has a fitted feel to the body, but it's not too tight.
The shoulder width is neither too low nor too low. The length is around 75 cm, which is a master size that can be worn with the hem tucked in or out. The armhole (vertical measurement) itself has a reasonable amount of room, so it is not tight.
In this way, the dimensions are determined based on functionality, and the pattern is created accordingly. It's not a shirt that's just about design, but a shirt that's designed with engineering in mind.
The material is the classic Supima Oxford series.

Since it's the autumn/winter season, this corduroy has a brushed finish that makes it look warm. At around 5 ounces, it's almost the same thickness as oxford cloth, so it goes well with any jacket.
Freeport and their customers had been asking me for a while to make a corduroy button-down shirt, but I never made one because I didn't really wear them myself.
I was wondering what color would be best if I were to make one, and while looking through the used clothes I had at the office... I found an LL Bean corduroy shirt.
This brown is exactly what I was looking for. So, I chose brown. Now that it's finished, I think it has a nice, wintery feel to it.
