WORKERS QUEEN OF THE ROAD Jacket, 8 oz Indigo Denim

This coverall is inspired by the BOSS model, which WORKERS has continued to produce since its early days, albeit with a considerable gap in production. Since the original was a dog, WORKERS made it a cat, calling it "Queen of the Road" (they even went to the trouble of obtaining a trademark for it). The previous version was longer, at about 75 cm in length, but this time it's around 69 cm. It's longer than a denim jacket, but shorter than a classic jacket. This length looks well-balanced on Japanese people who are a little over 170 cm tall. The denim is 8 ounces. Coveralls are often made with 10 ounces, so this is a little lighter. This is to suit the current Japanese climate, where summer comes early and lasts too long. To be precise, even though we say "denim," there are different weave patterns: "two warp threads skipping two weft threads and going under one" ("two-one twill") and "three weft threads skipping one weft thread and going under one" ("three-one twill"). "Two-one" is generally used for workwear. Because there are many points where the threads intersect, the friction is strong and the fabric is stiff. The white weft threads are not easily visible, and the overall color appears darker. In its washed state, it looks plainer than the "31" twill commonly used in jeans. The "denim-like" characteristics only become apparent after it has faded. The product has been washed.
