Main body is No. 4 canvas / approx. 23.5 oz, Bottom No. 6 canvas / approx. 19 oz Size: Width and bottom about 31 cm, height 30 cm, depth 18 cm. The width tapers upward, so the opening can be up to about 40 cm. Handle length: Short 25 cm, Long 60 cm (shoulder strap length) On the outside, there's an outer pocket on one side. At first glance, it looks the same as the one I made before... Fabric/factory/sewing thread/name/tape—everything is different. The fabric is No. 4 canvas for the main body. Deliberately without ears (selvedge). Previously, I was so obsessed with selvedge that it was so much like 'it could only be made at this weaving factory.' In fact, the factory I had requested first had already closed down. This time, the premise was that the fabric could be reliably sourced, not from the selvage. On top of that, we aimed for something beyond selvage. The problem was the side section. If you don't use selvedge, you have to "fold" or "lock and sew." Folding and sewing obviously looks cleaner, but the sewing difficulty is far higher. So, after searching for it, I found a factory in the neighboring town of my father's hometown. The president there was someone who loved sewing machines and trumpets, and we got along well. Because of that, I can order with peace of mind. (Though the labor cost is quite high) The folded part on the side acts as a bone, so the bag stands up even without any contents. As expected, the tote is easy to use when it stands on its own. The bottom is size 6. Adding a connector in the center adds a design accent. Originally, the fabric was narrow, but we intentionally kept the use of selvage in the triangle (It's hard and tough! It costs you labor! That's what they say.) The sewing thread is thick polyester. The surface is coated to prevent twisting back. The name is the same as before at first glance. But in the past, we printed on sheeting, and this time, printed on coated fabric. The pattern stands out even more sharply. I searched for tape and found the producer. I went right away and heard about it, and found an extra-hard, thick tape called 'Cotton Cloth Power Loom Tape.' This tape of the same width also comes from a power loom and a separate loom, and the power loom is especially thick. However, productivity is poor, and if there is no stock, the wait is extremely long. But for that, even if you wait, this tape. We also order a lot of stock at WORKERS. (Currently, I'm also working on black dyeing.) Meeting a new factory has changed things from before. I aimed for the highest quality I can produce now.
