Description
This is YASHIKI's classic collared cardigan. This design is inspired by the soft spring rain that nourishes the earth and melts away winter. The fine texture of the pique knit at the center of the body and on the sleeves represents the icy, rough snow at the end of winter. The diagonal lines on the sides of the body represent the soft spring rain. The pattern from the shoulders to the hem of the body represents melting snow flowing away. Using a technique known as plating knitting, which uses different yarns on the front and back sides, we have created a two-tone knit that creates a textured look. This design pays homage to the classic YASHIKI kimono pattern, with dropped shoulders for a soft look when worn. The cuffs feature the brand's iconic "Yagasuri" pattern. Pique knitting is characterized by its uneven texture, which minimizes contact with the skin, resulting in a smooth, comfortable knit. The buttons are made from natural black mother-of-pearl. Each button has a unique appearance and a refined iridescent sheen.
