This is a classic crew neck cardigan from YASHIKI.
I envisioned snow fluttering down and softly enveloping everything around it.
The pattern on the sides of the bodice represents snowflakes, while the waffle pattern on the sleeves in the center of the bodice depicts fields and houses covered in snow.
By using varying shades of thread on the front and back sides, depth is created, representing the way snow slowly accumulates.
To create a soft, relaxed look with dropped shoulders when worn, YASHIKI has incorporated a classic kimono pattern as an homage to this design.
The cuffs feature the brand's iconic [Yagasuri] pattern.
The buttons are made from natural black mother-of-pearl. Each button has a unique appearance and a beautiful, elegant iridescent sheen.
*Compared to last year's product, the armholes and sleeves will be narrower due to the plating knit.

The landscapes and culture of Ishikawa Prefecture, the designer's hometown, played a significant role in the design.
The brand incorporates patterns and details that evoke the culture of their hometown, such as the Tedorigawa River and rural landscapes, into knitwear, expressing the scenes and local feel through simple yet elegant craftsmanship.

The rain that had been wetting the roads black gradually turned into snow, slowly painting them white. Will this snow accumulate?
My heart leaped with joy at the first snow of the year. The snow fluttered down from the leaden sky, softly enveloping the fields and houses. The silvery snow shimmered, sometimes blue, sometimes red, coloring the town. Rain began to mix with the falling snow, breaking down the dark snow on the side of the road into smaller pieces. Winter is almost over, I suppose.
I wonder if it'll snow again.
The YASHIKI 25AW COLLECTION is themed around "the color of snow," and incorporates various scenes of snow-covered fields and townscapes into knitwear.
