イヴ・サンローラン（サンローラン）でモデリストとしてメンズとウィメンズのデザインやパターンなどを担当していた経験を持ち、
複数の大手メゾンや国産メリヤス工業などでデザインを手掛けた杉原淳史氏による2023AWより立ち上げられたブランド。
ノノットは、素材からパターンまですべてにこだわる。日常に合う洋服をコンセプトにしております。
由来はフランス語の「non（否定）」と英語の「not」、フランス語で“あなた”を意味する「te」を組み合わせた造語。
「あなたを否定するものを否定し返す」という意味を込め、着飾ることですら否定される時代に、纏うことで内面から力が湧く服を目指して名付けられました。
フランス語をベースにしたのは、自身が経験を積んだフランスとの縁を示しており、
上質な素材と繊細な技術を用い、立体的なフォルムを追求したアイテムを提案しています。

「日常を小さく進めるために」 
今期は、「なぜ自分はまだこの服を持っていないのか」 
という、とても個人的な疑問から始まりました。 
とにかく洋服が大好きなのに、 それでも「持っていない洋服」への異常なまでの執着と疑問が頭をよぎりました。 
服のことは毎日のように考えているのに、 なぜか自分の手元に来ていない服がある。 
それには必ず理由があるはずだと思いました。 
どんなデザインなら本当に着たいと思えるのか。 どんな形なら日常に入れたいと思えるのか。
素材の混率、撚り、組織、番手のバランス。 
既存のルールを少しずつ疑いながら、 小さな違和感をひとつずつ拾い上げるところから 今期の服づくりが始まりました。 
小さな疑問から、思考はどんどん膨らんでいきます。 
持っていないのは買っていないからで、 買っていないのは、そこに必ず理由があるからだと思います。 
小さなことから、どうでもいいと感じられてしまうようなことまで、頭の中で散らかった疑問は尽きません。 
でも、自分の欲望を叶えるためには、それらの疑問を疑問のまま放っておくことが、どうしてもできないのです。 
それを我慢することは、息を止める行為に似ていて、 目をつぶる行為に似ていて、それを突破しない限り、僕の日常のクリエーションは前に進みません。 
周りから見れば粒のような、取るに足らない疑問かもしれません。 
けれど自分にとっては、それが何より大切な起源であり、ものづくりの“種”でもあります。 
その種を、日本の職人さんたちと一緒に全力で育て、 水をあげ、花を咲かせ、誰かに見てもらう。 
デザイナーとは、そんな職業だと、僕は信じています。 時間はかかれど、その蕾が見えた瞬間には、毎回心から感動します。 
そしてその思いを、エンドユーザーに届けたい一心で、 今期の服作りに臨みました。 
まだまだ規模の小さなブランドですが、 心だけは、何よりも熱い思いで挑んでいます。

I have experience working as a modelist at Yves Saint Laurent (Saint Laurent), handling designs and patterns for both men's and women's styles,
A brand launched by Atsushi Sugihara, who has worked on designs for several major maisons and domestic meriyasu industries, starting with the 2023AW season.
Noknot is particular about everything from materials to patterns. Our concept is to create clothes that suit everyday life.
The origin is a coined word combining the French word "non" (negative), the English "not," and the French word "te," meaning "you."
With the meaning of 'denying what denies you,' the name was chosen to inspire inner strength through wearing clothes in an era where even dressing up is often denied.
The French-based design reflects his connection to France, where he gained experience,

"To make everyday life smaller"
This season, the topic is, "Why don't I have this outfit yet?"
It all started with a very personal question.
Even though I absolutely love clothes, an abnormal obsession and question about 'clothes I don't own' crossed my mind.
Even though I think about clothes almost every day, for some reason, there are some pieces that haven't come to me.
I thought there must be a reason for that.
What kind of design would make you truly want to wear it? What kind of shape would make you want to incorporate it into everyday life?
Balance of material blend, twist, texture, and count.
This season's clothing creation began by gradually questioning existing rules and picking up small oddities one by one.
From small questions, your thoughts keep expanding.
I think the reason I don't have it is because I haven't bought it, and I believe there is always a reason for not buying it.
From small things to things that seem trivial, the questions in my mind never end.
But to fulfill your desires, you simply can't leave those questions as they are.
Enduring it is like holding your breath, like closing your eyes, and unless I break through it, my daily creation will not move forward.
From the outside, it might seem like a grain or a trivial question.
But for me, that is the most important origin and the "seed" of craftsmanship.
Together with Japanese artisans, we nurture those seeds with all our might, water them, let them bloom, and let others see them.
I believe that being a designer is such a profession. It takes time, but the moment I see that bud, I am deeply moved every time.
With the sole desire to deliver that vision to end users, we approached this season's clothing creation.
Although it is still a small brand, we take on challenges with the highest passion and passion above all else.
