1873年福岡県・久留米にて創業した老舗靴メーカー、ムーンスターで生産されるスニーカー＜SHOES LIKE POTTERY＞。

国内でもごく僅かの工場しか生産することの出来ない、この製法の最大の特徴は、最終工程で加硫缶と呼ばれる“窯”に入れる(ゴムの中に配合した硫黄を化学反応させる)という点です。
この製法から生み出される靴には、ソールがしなやかで柔らかい、丈夫で壊れにくい、美しいシルエットを保てるといった良さがあります。

この製法が焼き物の行程に似ていることから名付けられました。

そして何より、熟練の手仕事でしか生み出せない、精巧で美しい“もの作りの良さ"が魅力です。

Sneakers produced by Moonstar, a long-established shoe manufacturer founded in Kurume, Fukuoka Prefecture in 1873.

The biggest feature of this method, which only a handful of factories in Japan can produce, is that the final process involves placing the cans into a "kiln" (where the sulfur mixed into the rubber undergoes a chemical reaction).
Shoes produced with this method have the advantages of having supple and soft soles, being durable and resistant to breakage, and maintaining a beautiful silhouette.

The name comes from the similarity of this production process to ceramics.
