Nanga's unique flame-retardant material combines soft wear and durability with the Hinock Ripstop series' inner down cardigan.
With its cotton-like appearance, it's perfect not only for outdoor styles but also for casual styles. The Hinock ripstop uses rolled yarn to provide natural stretch and elasticity, ensuring a consistently comfortable fit.

For the down, we use UDD DX (Spanish Duck Down 90-10% 770FP), a high-quality, high-performance down made by combining DX (Spanish Duck Down 90-10% 760FP) with ultra-water-repellent processing. This minimizes the loss of insulation due to moisture from outside during rainy weather or sweat from working in the field, causing the down to become wet and shrink from the inside.
In terms of design, it features a simple design with one chest pocket and two waist pockets, making it easy to pair with any outerwear when worn as an inner layer. Furthermore, by going collarless, the collar does not interfere with the outer collar.
As an outerwear, the down stitching is not exposed to the outer fabric, making it easy to wear as an outer layer.
Until around October~November, it can be worn as outerwear, and from December onward~ it can be worn as an inner layer for shells, mountain parkas, or overcoats, making it a versatile item suitable for long-term wear.

Nanga's unique flame-retardant material. The "aramid" fibers blended into Hinock material are not only flame-retardant but also highly resistant to abrasion and durable. Additionally, ripstop fabric weaves fibers in a grid pattern, preventing tears from spreading even if torn or frayed. The combination of material and woven fabric makes the fabric even more resistant to tearing. Additionally, it uses rolled yarn to provide natural stretch and elasticity.


Nanga was founded in 1941 by the predecessor, Akira Yokota, from the production area of Omi pure cotton futons.
The company name comes from the 8,000-meter-class peak "Nanga Barbat" in the Himalayas. Located at the foot of Mount Ibuki, in Maibara City, Shiga Prefecture, we are a 74-year-old domestic "down products" manufacturer.
Nanga Parbat is the ninth highest in the world at 8,126 meters and is also feared as the 'Man-Eating Mountain.' It refers to a mountain that has suffered many lost lives and is difficult to climb, and the company name embodies the founder's wish: "Because it's difficult, we will do it, and everyone will climb where they should."
