Description

正式名称「TROUSERS, MEN’S, COTTON, SATEEN」通称「ベーカーパンツ」。パターンは、オリジナルの MIL-T-838D（1958 年）を解体、トレース。裾幅 24 センチ。ワタリが広く股上も深い、ゆったりとしたシルエット。夏は風が通り、冬は中にレギンスをはいて窮屈にならないシルエット。生地、ベーカーと言えばバックサテンですが、「もう持ってるよ」という方も多いはず。そこでODのヘリンボン。ベーカーパンツの形によく似合います。オンスもバックサテンより若干軽く、厚みも少し薄い。手触りもバックサテンがストレッチ性があるのに対し、バックサテンは硬い。これは、糸の太さ＆交差の数の違い。今回使ったバックサテンのほうが「糸が太め」「ヘリンボンより打ち込み本数が少ない」「バックサテンという組織は糸の交差の数がヘリンボンより少ない。いわゆる「ゆるい」生地」ヘリンボンは上記がすべて逆。その結果、同じ綿生地ですが、手触り・風合いが全然違います。製品はOW済です。
