WORKERS Pullover BD, 7.5 oz Denim, Washed

I wear button-down jackets for half the year, or no, about 80% in winter. In spring and summer, when it's hot, I often leave the front of my shirt open and wear it as a jacket. But in winter, I keep it closed all the time. I often wear a sweater over it. If that's the case, isn't pullover really the best for winter? Since there's no front end, my stomach probably won't get cold (for those in my late 40s, who only worry about that). So, I tried making pullover BDs with various fabrics. The base is Modified BD, but the pullover doesn't move at all at all, so it feels cramped as is. I adjusted the pattern so that the waist is lighter and the waist is more relaxed in the silhouette. The product is delivered with NW, no washing. Samples are sun-dried in OW to take measurements. None of the fabrics have major shrinkage. The denim is 7.5 ounces, and I wanted a shirt for 'midwinter,' so I decided to go a bit thicker. The thinner the denim, the less it feels like denim. 3-5 ounce denim feels like a "soft chambray." That's because chambray is a plain weave, while denim is a twill weave. Plain weave has more thread intersections, so it feels stiffer, while denim has 2×1 or 3×1 twill, which has fewer crossings than 1×1 plain weave, so it feels more supple. The fabric maintains its shape without falling apart thanks to the friction of the crossing threads. This means that even with the same thickness of yarn and the same number of threads twisted in different weaving methods, the texture will be different.
