兵庫県西脇市にある本間織布。
お祖父様が営んでいた工場の機械をお孫さんの奥さまが引継ぎ、しっかりと毎日を営みながら一人で織り上げる特別なヘリンボーンです。
通常のヘリンボーンよりも細かい織柄、キャンバスらしい厚みと強度はありながらも、柔らかくてしなやかな雰囲気と味わい深いムラ感が特徴です。
「やわらかくてしなやかでやさしい」本間さんのお人柄がそのまま具現化されたような特別なヘリンボーンをどんなスタイルにも馴染むようグレーに染めて頂きました。
とてもイーラらしい仕上がりになったと思っています。
