What is FILMELANGE?
This is the ultimate cut-and-sew brand, born in the spring of 2007 .
FilMelange is named after the meaning of "mixed-color ( Melange ) thread ( Fil )".
It refers to the heathered yarn that has been used in T -shirts and sweatshirts for a long time.
These are exquisite products crafted with care and dedication by artisans worthy of being called Japanese masters. They are made using carefully selected natural materials in colors that are unpretentious, suit everyone, and loved across generations for "everyday life," resulting in soft, light, and beautiful fabrics.
FilMelange is committed to thorough in-house development, from the selection of raw materials ("cotton") to the "yarn," "fabric," and "sewing." Furthermore, they are dedicated to Japanese manufacturing and are committed to training future artisans at their own factory.
