Description
The browline style is one of the most iconic shapes associated with sunglasses.
Sunglasses have reigned as a timeless and classic item, both in Europe and America, and here in Japan.
This browline style has been redesigned with a redefined front tilt angle and finer sizing to provide an exquisite fit that doesn't touch the cheeks, even for Asians with flatter noses.
An Asian fit, yet a unisex silhouette that also fits Westerners.
To commemorate NOCHINO OPTICAL's 10th season, special seasonal colors infused with the spirit of spring will be added to the brand's iconic, uniquely developed photochromic lenses.
This collection features delicate, pale pink nuances inspired by cherry blossoms. The lenses capture the ephemeral beauty of the flowers that adorn Japanese spring and a quiet aesthetic that embraces the passage of time.
Unlike typical photochromic lenses that change color from clear to tinted, NOCHINO OPTICAL lenses start with a slight tint and deepen beautifully in tone when exposed to ultraviolet light, showing different looks depending on whether it's day or night, indoors or outdoors.
Its exquisite tone design allows it to be worn indoors without looking out of place, bringing soft shadows and depth to the area around the face.
This "cherry blossom pink" is a new offering perfect for spring and summer, following the refreshing "blue wisteria" released last season. It features an elegant and understated pink tone that blends naturally with men's attire and looks exceptionally beautiful on Asian skin tones.
A key feature is the rim, the part that covers the lens. It uses milgrain, a decorative technique that has been passed down in Europe for centuries, in which small round dots are repeatedly stamped onto the edges and lines of metal, such as in wedding rings, and classical, delicate engraved patterns that were frequently used in antique jewelry. You can enjoy the view from three different angles. The word "mil" comes from the Latin word for milgrain, meaning a thousand grains. A thousand is considered auspicious and symbolizes eternity and longevity. It is precisely because it is a timeless item that this part has such persuasive power.
The hinges connecting the frame and temples use five-barrel hinges, resulting in a robust construction.
Each component is fitted with screws according to its intended use, done by hand. This meticulous handiwork, characteristic of Sabae's craftsmanship, is a key feature.
Lens: 2-curve Body: Frame size 50mm, Bridge width 20mm, Temple length 147mm
UV transmittance
#10. GLOSS BLACK & CHAMPAGNE GOLD × SAKURA to D.GREY UV transmittance 5% or less
This product is handcrafted by artisans in Sabae, Fukui Prefecture. Therefore, due to the characteristics of the materials and manufacturing process, there may be slight variations between individual items. Please be aware that you may occasionally find minor imperfections or distortions that are characteristic of handmade products upon receiving your order.
If you notice any distortion or other issues, please have them adjusted at your local optician or feel free to contact NOCHINO OPTICAL Minami Aoyama Main Store.
Regarding photochromic lenses, they generally have a lifespan of about 3 years, although this can vary depending on the frequency and environment of use.
Frequent use in ultraviolet light or use/storage in high-temperature environments (e.g., sauna, bathroom, car interior) may gradually degrade the dimming performance.
We ask for your understanding in advance.
Please note that while NOCHINO OPTICAL's photochromic lenses are generally manufactured in dedicated batches for our own products each season, slight variations in the speed and density of photochromic lenses may occur between individual lenses due to differences in production batches.
Regarding returns and exchanges: Due to the nature of the product, we do not accept returns or exchanges except in cases where the product has a clear defect.
Please note that we cannot accept cancellations or returns after your order has been confirmed.
