I envisioned a scene where the young leaves on the trees rustle softly in the gentle spring breeze. The fawn-stitch in the center of the body represents the young leaves, the diagonal pattern on the sides represents the gentle breeze, and the large fawn-stitch expresses the rustling sound of the leaves. Side slits add a light impression. Using a technique called plating knit, where different yarns are knitted on the front and back, we changed the color of the yarn on the front and back and knitted with two colors to create a three-dimensional look. The buttons are made of natural black-lipped mother-of-pearl. Each button has a unique appearance and a beautiful, elegant iridescent sheen. It offers Japanese-made knitwear produced in the Ryomo region of northern Kanto, where the textile industry has long flourished. Patterns and details that evoke the culture of the designer's hometown, such as the Tedori River and rural landscapes, are incorporated into the knitwear, expressing the scenes and local feel that can be felt from them through simple yet elegant craftsmanship.
