A straight path through rice fields, with tire tracks remaining. I imagined a scene with white clover blooming by the roadside, gleaming white in the sunlight. The fine unevenness of the overall pique knit represents the blooming white clover, while the thin vertical lines running from the shoulders to the hem represent the tire tracks. Pique knit is characterized by its uneven surface, which means less contact with the skin, resulting in a smooth and dry feel. Side slits add a touch of lightness. Using a technique called plating knit, where different yarns are knitted on the front and back sides, we changed the yarn colors on the front and back to create a rich, dimensional look with two colors. The buttons are made from natural black lip mother-of-pearl. Each button has a unique appearance and a beautiful iridescent shimmer. Patterns and details that evoke the culture of his hometown, such as the Tedori River and rural landscapes, are incorporated into the knitwear, expressing the scenery and local feel through simple yet elegant craftsmanship.
