ASAHI DECK, a long-established shoe manufacturer launched in 2017, produces deck shoes based on American-made deck shoes from the 1970s, using a shoe last with the beautiful shape of the original, created in the 1980s. Manufacturing is carried out entirely by skilled craftsmen in Japan.
These shoes utilize a rare vulcanized manufacturing method, even in Japan, which significantly increases the strength and elasticity of the shoe's upper and sole. The outsole, which is slip-resistant even on wet floors, features a wave-shaped groove, providing a comfortable, snug fit with every step. The form, designed by skilled craftsmen, boasts a slender and beautiful silhouette. Please enjoy the superior fit and comfortable feel that sets these shoes apart from conventional sneakers.

The rubber tape wrapped around the side of the sole is hand-applied, with varying widths towards the toe, creating a classic and sharp look with its elegant curves.

Currently, only a few companies in Japan, including Asahi, are capable of implementing this manufacturing method. These shoes are produced meticulously, one pair at a time, using this rare technology.
