Kerry Woolen Mills has a factory in Kerry, surrounded by the beautiful mountains of southwest Ireland. Originally founded in Scotland, the company was moved to Ireland by the Eddie family in 1904. They have been producing fabrics and yarns from fine wool for over 300 years and still remain true to the traditions of their founding, making them loved not only in Ireland but around the world. Located in the naturally rich southwest of Ireland, Kerry Woollen Mills is a factory with full-scale production facilities that spins its own wool yarn. The wool is from sheep raised on organic farms without chemical feed, maintaining the elasticity and suppleness of British pure wool. As an environmental consideration, dyeing is kept to a minimum, resulting in a natural color that brings out the natural color of the wool. In recent years, the company has factories not only in Ireland but also in the UK, and continues to provide traditional, high-quality products. This sweater is made from fisherman rib, one of Kerry Woollen Mills' classic styles. Originating from the knitwear once worn by fishermen, this traditional rib knit is thick, highly insulating, and has just the right amount of stretch.
