This model is an updated, oversized version of REMI RELIEF's classic SP-processed fleece crewneck sweatshirt, a staple since the brand's inception.
This oversized sweatshirt features a simpler design with the collar and underarm gussets removed, reflecting current trends.

【PROCESSING】
SP processing (special processing)
From the 1930s to the late 1960s, sweatshirts primarily used direct dyes and sulfur dyes.
The principle behind the fading of used clothing is thought to be that the amino acids that hold the dye in place undergo oxidative bonding with oxygen in the air, causing hydrolysis, which turns them into carbon and eventually leads to decay.
REMI RELIEF's SP processing replicates this natural principle, using traditional direct dyes that combine with oxygen to slowly fade over a long period of time.
The body of the garment will also sustain some damage, but unlike processing that involves adding chemicals or forcibly melting the fabric with bio-processing, the processing is done in a way that most closely resembles the damage that naturally occurs with age in vintage clothing. The more you wear it, the more indistinguishable it becomes from a genuine vintage garment.

【MATERIAL】
100% Cotton
The yarn used for the fleece lining comes from organic cotton waste grown at the Alvarez Farm in New Mexico, USA.
This fabric uses a stiff, tightly woven loopback fabric made from yarn that is characterized by its firmness and resilience, knitted at the very limit of its gauge.
Because it's made of unbrushed fleece, it's a fabric that's easy to use throughout the year.
