These shorts are made from dobby fabric, which uses nylon yarn in the warp and cotton yarn in the weft, resulting in a fabric with just the right amount of resilience and a natural texture unique to natural materials, and is characterized by its finely textured surface.
The design incorporates a "loop" created simply by folding over the hem, which I think gives the item an airy and puffy feel.
Furthermore, because the garment is almost fully lined, the pocket bags can be concealed, allowing us to create beautifully designed seam pockets.
Similar to the hem, the patch pockets also have a folded-over "loop" at the bottom, which naturally creates a gusset, and this design also contributes to improved functionality.
We believe this item has become a functional piece thanks to its five pockets, taking advantage of the thin and lightweight material and specifications that are well suited to this design.


Roundabout is a Japanese fashion brand.
The designer is Hirokazu Fujiwara. He proposes a style that deliberately embraces "wastefulness" and "awkwardness."
Not fashion-conscious.
