This vest is made from dobby fabric, which uses nylon yarn in the warp and cotton yarn in the weft, resulting in a moderate resilience and a natural texture unique to natural materials, as well as a distinctive finely textured surface.
The design incorporates a "loop" created simply by folding over the hem, which I think gives the item an airy and fluffy feel.
Furthermore, because the garment is almost fully lined, the pocket bags can be concealed, allowing us to create beautifully finished seam pockets.
Similar to the hem, the patch pockets also have a folded-over "loop" at the bottom, which naturally creates a gusset, and this design also contributes to improved functionality.
We believe the five pockets, which utilize the thin and lightweight material and specifications best suited to this design, have made it highly functional.


Roundabout is a Japanese fashion brand.
The designer is Hirokazu Fujiwara. He proposes a style that deliberately embraces "wastefulness" and "awkwardness."
Not fashion-conscious.
Not a beautiful silhouette.
But this is my way.
