Description

This T-shirt is made from a double-woven fabric with a beautifully twilled surface and a soft, gauze-like feel on the inside. It uses two types of warp and two types of weft threads, weaving the front and back with different structures, and then washing it to create a soft and comfortable texture. The sides are finished by simply overlapping and fastening the fabric (originally, I designed it with the image of overlapping two pieces of paper and gluing them together). I hope you'll find the humor in the fact that it's surprisingly difficult to actually bring to life a simple concept like "gluing things together" that a child might come up with, and that this unconventional method is interesting. Roundabout is a Japanese fashion brand. The designer is Hirokazu Fujiwara, who proposes a style that deliberately embraces "wastefulness" and "awkwardness." Not fashion conscious. Not beautiful silhouette. But this is my way. Roundabout may be a brand that has nothing to do with "trends" or "sophistication."
