This limited collection is crafted from carefully selected vintage deadstock fabrics dating from the 1980s to the early 2000s, including rare materials from renowned brands and prototype textiles.

Banshu-ori is a traditional cotton textile from Hyogo Prefecture, Japan, woven using the sakizome technique, where yarn is dyed before weaving. This process creates rich colors and distinctive patterns, making Banshu-ori one of Japan's most celebrated pre-dyed textiles.

This time, we're highlighting Banshu weave (Banshu weave).
Banshu-ori is a cotton textile produced in the northern Harima region of Hyogo Prefecture, mainly Nishiwaki City and Taka Town. It is a traditional industry that has continued since the late Edo period, boasting a high market share of over 70% in Japan's "pre-dyed textiles."
