This item is the latest item in the CORONA5 pocket denim collection. It features slightly lowered large back pockets, a deep rise, and a buggy silhouette with wide thigh and knee widths.
All parts such as buttons and rivets feature CORONA's original logo.
≪14oz Selvedge Indigo Denim≫
The 14oz Indigo Selvitch denim is woven in Okayama Prefecture, the denim-producing region.
This denim uses a rice-cotton-based blend with naturally uneven-patterned yarns.
During weaving, loosening the tension of the warp threads creates unevenness on the fabric surface, which leads to the characteristic drop-off characteristic of vintage denim over time due to aging.
By using the old power loom and weaving slowly with a gentle tension, it recreates the atmosphere of the 1950s.
Because the knit is not over-stitched and is woven with a gentle tension, the fabric softens as you wear it and beautifully drapes down vertically.
