At the end of winter, faint light filters through gaps in leaden clouds, gently enveloping the cold earth.
We imagined a quiet landscape where you can feel the arrival of spring.
The base uses the reverse side of the jersey knit, representing a dark, closed winter, with the central line of the body representing light streaming through gaps in the clouds.
By exposing the armholes, sleeves, and side seams, it expresses the transition from winter to spring.
Made with beautifully glossy yarn made by gas-baking supima extra-long cotton with supple and smooth fibers to remove fuzz.
This thin yet sturdy fabric is made by bundling fine 80-count yarns into a 12-gauge fabric.
To create a soft impression when worn, the shoulders drop and the design pays homage to classic kimono patterns at YASHIKI.
The cuffs feature the brand's iconic [arrow kasuri] pattern.
