PORTER CLASSIC's classic ROLL UP SHIRT.
HEATHER GINGHAM CHECK
This series uses a newly developed original material called "Giza 120 double-ply yarn."
By weaving the fabric with a micro-twill weave—a first for this garment—instead of the conventional plain weave, we have achieved a lightweight and comfortable feel while maintaining both suppleness and durability.
In addition to the elegant sheen unique to fine-count Giza cotton, it also boasts the soft, supple touch characteristic of twill fabric.
This fabric has been treated to reduce the stiffness and frizz often found in typical twill, resulting in a natural and soft texture.
Furthermore, the use of melange yarn creates a deep, rich shade of light gray and charcoal.
We designed it with a focus on versatile color schemes that blend well with various styles.
While seemingly simple at first glance, this fabric boasts a superior quality that sets it apart from ordinary gingham.
Whether rolled up or worn as a pair of trousers, this piece blends seamlessly into everyday life while still allowing you to appreciate the quality of the material.

Porter Classic was founded in 2007.
It all started with antique Japanese fabrics I found at a flea market overseas.
Katsuyuki Yoshida left Yoshida Co., Ltd., and his son, Reo Yoshida, established the company.
