The biggest feature of this manufacturing method, which can only be produced in a very small number of factories in Japan, is that in the final process, the rubber is placed in a kiln called a vulcanizer (where the sulfur compounded into the rubber undergoes a chemical reaction).
The shoes produced using this method have the advantages of having flexible and soft soles, being durable and resistant to breakage, and maintaining a beautiful silhouette.

This method was named after the fact that it resembles the pottery process.
