Sage Toda-Nation, a designer with Japanese and British heritage, learned brand management at Studio Nicholson while attending university and launched this London-based brand in 2019.

Its unique design blends the aesthetics of both Japan and Britain, which are its roots. He was also greatly influenced by his Japanese grandfather, Yoshisaburo Toda, who was renowned as a painter.

Resonating with the design approaches of industrial designers Kenneth Grange and Dieter Rams, he pursues manufacturing that transcends trends and gender, with the philosophy of 'PURPOSE, PERSPECTIVE, AND BALANCE.'

While continuing activities under his own brand, he will also serve as a CD for YMC London starting from 2025SS.
