Description

DOEK OXFORD follows the design of inner wing tennis shoes, eliminating any particular statement pieces and instead focusing solely on making the most of the materials. The canvas upper is an original, 10oz coarse weave woven on an old-fashioned power loom. The INDIGO fabric, dyed with indigo from the yarn, develops a unique texture the more you wear it. The footbed is made of cork, a naturally breathable material. The vulcanization process, performed meticulously by hand, produces products that are beautiful, comfortable, and durable, just what you need for modern lifestyles. DOEK SHOE INDUSTRIES DOEK is an original brand of GOOD WEAVER. "Doek" is a Dutch word that is the origin of the Japanese word "zukku," meaning "woven fabric." DOEK's mission is to "make sneakers from high-quality woven fabrics." From expressive canvases made on old-fashioned power looms to modern fabrics created using new technology, the brand creates products that bring out the best in their materials. About the fabric Indigo-dyed threads are woven into original canvases on traditional power looms. Indigo dyeing, which uses the indigo plant (Tadeai) as a dye, is said to have deodorizing, bacterial suppression, UV protection, and insect repellent properties, making it a craftwork filled with the wisdom of our ancestors. Care Instructions Remove the shoelaces when washing. Add powder detergent (neutral detergent) to lukewarm water and wash by pressing the shoes under the water. Dirt on the rubber part of the sole can be effectively removed by rubbing with a melamine sponge. Next, rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water until all the bubbles disappear, then stuff a towel inside the sneakers to prevent them from losing their shape and spin-dry them in the washing machine for 10 to 30 seconds. After that, we recommend drying them in the sun or in the shade in a well-ventilated area as quickly as possible. The color will fade to some extent, but once it has faded to a certain extent, the color will settle and stabilize.
