ストーリー Rain falls during the change of seasons. The rain that fell for several days at the end of winter stops, and with the scent of earth, the "Kafusho" (Flower Wind Merchants) who have come of age open their Spring Market (Haru Ichiba). They have traveled extensively until coming of age, and now, to the towns preparing for spring and summer, they transport new spring and summer goods (flowers, seeds, seashells, etc.) acquired through their travels, loaded onto balloon carts. This is why they are called Kafusho. Among them are brothers, "Kochi," the spring merchant, and "Hae," the summer merchant. This time, it's a story set in a bustling market. This shirt coat was designed to evoke the workwear of the market. Inspired by the garments worn by Dutch merchants, it features a relaxed silhouette. It's a versatile item that can be worn as a light outer layer or cinched at the waist. It can be worn as a unisex item. The material is cord embroidered fabric from India. Three-dimensional embroidery is layered on a light cotton lawn fabric. The result is an ASEEDONCLÖUD-like finish that makes a statement even in its simple form. Due to the nature of the embroidery thread, some fuzzing and fiber adhesion may be observed, but this fabric is a handmade creation that cannot be produced in Japan. While utilizing the beauty of old workwear seen in photographs from the late 19th to early 20th centuries, the designs weave wit and humor into the identity behind that beauty. The materials are primarily natural, sometimes featuring items with a sense of the era, and other times recreating items from antiques. The concept is to draw inspiration from the lifestyles of various professions each season, incorporating the essence of those lives as a spice into the designs. - Designer- Kentaro Tamai Graduated from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, Menswear Department. Returned to Japan after working as an assistant designer for Margaret Howell UK in London. April 2007: Established WrittenAfterwards Inc. September 2008: First participation in Tokyo Collection. April 2009: Ceased activities with WrittenAfterwards and began independent design activities.
