The Norm SH is a set-in sleeve T-shirt from the popular Norm series of high-end wool T-shirts. It's a top-quality garment achieved through highly skilled spinning and sewing in Japan, featuring a basic design with unnecessary details removed, a silhouette created from patterns adjusted down to the millimeter, and a soft, comfortable feel against the skin. It uses 100% Australian Merino wool, so high-quality it's used in luxury suits as "Super100's." This material is then spun in Bishu, one of Japan's leading wool producing regions, which constantly receives offers from global fashion houses. It's knitted into a jersey fabric with a soft texture and an elegant subtle sheen. From the raw material to the knitting and finishing, every aspect of this material is first-class. It boasts eight excellent functions, including absorbency, breathability, heat retention, antibacterial properties, odor resistance, UV protection, and anti-static effects. Merino wool is about half as fine as regular wool, resulting in a smooth feel against the skin without the typical wool itchiness. It instantly absorbs and wicks away sweat, maintaining a consistently comfortable feel. It's cool when worn alone and warm when used as an inner layer, always staying clean. Despite being wool, it's also machine washable. *Slight shrinkage may occur vertically. Details like chest pockets have been omitted, and a short slit at the hem creates a slight front-to-back difference, resulting in a simple design that maximizes the material's quality. To compensate, the silhouette that creates an exquisite drape was carefully calculated and thoroughly adjusted into the pattern, giving it a sophisticated feel that, while basic, avoids being generic. Available in two sizes: M and L. Both sizes offer a more relaxed fit in the body width compared to typical Japanese men's sizes, while the length is set slightly shorter relative to the width. This design incorporates current trends and is designed to suit a wide range of styles. The hem and cuffs are finished with a double-needle cover stitch. While this is a common sewing method for cut-and-sew garments, various sewing methods were tested during the sampling phase. Production efficiency was disregarded by slowing down sewing machine speeds, among other things, to find the most beautiful way to sew while preserving the soft texture of the wool fabric. It is sewn in a factory in Tottori that specializes in cut-and-sew garments and is trusted by renowned domestic brands. This is one of the few factories in Japan with the technology, knowledge, and equipment to perform optimal sewing while leveraging the material's characteristics.
