A zip-up blouson embroidered with beautiful, old-fashioned Japanese landscapes, following traditional Japanese techniques.
This piece stands apart from the typical embroidery found on archive pieces of sukajan jackets, boasting a level of precision meticulously designed to the limits of its capabilities, from thread thickness and color palette to gradation, shading, and completely original, nostalgic motifs.
Furthermore, you can enjoy two different looks: the beautiful velvet side with its light weight and solid color, and the unique two-tone rayon quilted side.
The velvet often seen in archive pieces such as souvenir jackets has been elevated to organic cotton.
By thinning the typically thick velvet to its limits and weaving it slowly on a shuttle loom, this fabric is characterized by its drape, fullness, and lightweight feel.
