The design is simple, meeting the bare minimum requirements for workwear, with fewer pockets and stitching, and standardized laurel buttons used by other companies. The third buttonhole from the top was used to pass the chain that attached a pocket watch when it was worn in a pocket, back when pocket watches were the norm. This is a simple and versatile piece that incorporates details from the 1940s.
