Design and Functionality - Lightweight and Easy to Walk In EX Sole The EX sole, a product of SHAKA, was jointly developed with Extralight, an Italian company. It is designed to reduce fatigue even when worn for long periods of time, and while being lighter, it offers excellent grip and durability, supporting comfortable and light walking.
Improved breathability and quick-drying properties
In the EX series, the neoprene material on the back of the strap has been changed to mesh. This improves breathability and quick-drying properties. You can enjoy comfortable wear not only in the city but also outdoors, such as playing in the sea or river.
The butterfly upper offers an exceptional fit, featuring a unique shape that wraps around the instep from both sides. The design allows for adjustment in three places—the instep and ankle—for a snug fit. The Velcro closure makes them easy to put on and take off. The sports sandals and slide heel straps are detachable, so you can remove them and enjoy them as slide sandals as well. With the straps attached, they can be worn as sports sandals for walking around town, traveling, or at festivals, and with the straps removed, they can be worn as convenient slide sandals for casual everyday wear, chilling out at a BBQ, or camping. The 2-way design allows you to change up your look depending on your mood, which is a great feature.
