As part of the CORONA 5-pocket denim collection, these pants feature slightly lowered back pockets, a deep rise, and a baggy silhouette with wide thigh and knee widths.
All parts such as buttons and rivets feature CORONA's original logo.
14oz Selvedge Indigo Denim
The 14oz Indigo Selvedge denim used is woven in Okayama Prefecture, the denim-producing region.
This denim uses a rice-cotton-based blend with naturally uneven-patterned yarns.
When weaving the tension of the warp threads is relaxed and weaved up, the fabric surface becomes uneven, and the aging process after wearing produces the characteristic spotting fading typical of vintage denim.
By using the old power loom and weaving slowly with a gentle tension, it recreates the atmosphere of the 1950s.
Because it is woven with a gentle tension without excessive embedding, the fabric softens and develops a beautiful vertical drop as you wear it in.
