WORKERS Modified 6 Button BD YELLOW

25FW - Last year's 6-button BD. The front has a button layout of 5 buttons on the body + 1 button on the collar stand. It is similar to the original, with wide sleeves, high cuff button placement, and a long length, designed to be tucked in. It was a silhouette that was faithful to the original, long vertically and with wide sleeves. However, we received a request to "use WORKERS' standard Modified Fit body, but make it with the balance of a 6-button BD, just with the front buttons" and we made it. Length/size 15 is about 76-77 cm. It is a length that can be worn with the hem tucked in or out. The sleeves are not too wide, but not so narrow that you can't roll them up. The cuff button placement is very basic, in the middle of the cuff. Right page, features of the 6-button. The distance from the collar stand to the first button on the body is wider than with the 7-button. As a result, when worn casually without tightening the tie, the neckline of the T-shirt is clearly visible. This "showing off the T-shirt that you would normally prefer not to see" is somehow rough and nice. Originally, BD is American traditional. Button-down shirts worn in American offices and schools were repurposed as casual wear in Japan as secondhand clothing. This shows that button-down shirts occupy a unique position somewhere between casual and formal. The material is all Oxford, about 5 ounces. Wear it alone in spring and autumn, except in the height of summer. Use it as an inner layer in winter. Products are delivered NW and unwashed. The fabric has been treated to prevent shrinkage and twisting, so it will not shrink significantly with normal washing and sun drying. Side note - Blue Pale and Blue Mykonos WORKERS' special order Supima x compact yarn Oxford. The difference between Blue Pale and Blue Mykonos is that instead of "dyeing the fabric to a certain color," they "dye the yarn in multiple colors and create a gradation by combining them." - Blue Pale and Blue Mykonos dye the warp threads (vertical) the same color. Blue Pale weaves the weft threads (horizontal) with white yarn. Blue Mykonos weaves its weft threads (horizontal) with threads dyed a light blue, different from the warp threads (vertical). Blue x white, blue x light blue. The fabric is woven in such a way that it appears as different shades of blue to the human eye. The difference from last year's 6-button BD. Last year's 6-button BD was designed to resemble the original, with wide sleeves, high cuff buttons, and a long length, intended to be tucked in. It had a silhouette that was faithful to the original, long vertically and with wide sleeves. In contrast, the Modified BD is a little shorter in length, has narrower sleeves, and the cuff buttons are in a more normal position.
